Kawasaki has introduced a new offroad motorcycle for younger riders and beginners, it is a Kawasaki KX 85 model for the 2014th year.
With about 30 percent more power than the smallest models in the series, KX 65, a new motorcycle brings new options for the youngest drivers. 2013 Kawasaki KX85 delivers 20 percent more power and throttle response is much better in the medium mode thanks to the renewed power-valve system. The engine is a 84 cc, liquid-cooled, 2-stroke single cylinder with fuel injection using a Carburetor: Keihin PWK 28th The tank stops 5.5 liters of petrol. Six-speed transmission provides the best possible transfer of power to the rear wheels, depending on conditions and configuration of the track.
The front suspension consists of 36mm leading-axle upside down telescopic fork with
16 – degree adjustable compression damping force. Rear suspension consists of a Bottom-Link Uni-Trak. You can adjust spring preload, adjustable compression damping force for a 4-degree and 20-degree extension. I frame is made of steel.
Braking is very good thanks to the 220mm front disc brakes and a 184mm disc at the rear wheel. Motorcycle is 1820mm long 735mm wide and 1055mm tall, the seat height is 840mm from the ground. Weight of 69 kg guarantees excellent maneuverability.
